Worry. Stress. Anxiety. Life can be difficult. Fears can affect your health, waking you up at night or draining you of energy. If you are worried about your children, your work or a loved one affected by drug or alcohol use, talking to a counselor can help. Left to fend for yourself without intervention, these fears can often lead to depression and burn out.

If you or your children are struggling, I can help you re-establish relationships and become a cared for and effective parent. If you’re overwhelmed by workplace stress, I can help you find a better way to work. If you are recovering from substance use (yours or someone else’s), I can walk along with you, helping you restore sanity to your life.

I am a believer who knows what it’s like to struggle with emotional, spiritual and physical problems. Your biblical worldview and your beliefs will be honored and encouraged and your problems will be understood.

I offer compassion, openness and wisdom. The values that will shape our time together are respect, acceptance and trust. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Master’s degree in Education/Counseling Psychology. I use a variety of techniques such as videos, story-telling and out-of-the-box thinking to explore what may be keeping you or your child from solving important problems or progressing to the next level.

This is my dream job and I left a 19-year business career to pursue it! As a counselor, I work with clients from every walk of life, no matter where you have come from or where you have been. Prior to joining the team at InnerView PLLC, I worked at Bradford at the InnerView, helping adolescents, adults and their families address issues including substance abuse, recurring depression, overwhelming anxiety, and unresolved trauma. Prior to that, I helped those struggling with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and personality disorders and those working to live with disabilities and abuse.

I enjoy laughing and cooking with my husband and our son, running, gardening, and traveling. I am involved in my faith community, where I help people connect with God and one another and have grown into someone that `others can count on.

If you have questions about how counseling can help or wish to schedule an appointment, please give our office a call (502) 499-8010 or email me at I look forward to hearing what’s on your heart.
