Libby Cunningham, M.S.

As a therapist and one of the partners and founders of The InnerView, I can honestly say I love my work today as much as I did 25 years ago when I started in San Francisco.  As a therapist, I believe that change is good—as long as it doesn’t kill you. Often we get to a place in our lives when we know something needs to change, in us, in a loved one, or in our situation—but we resist it because it’s difficult or we don’t know how to change. I’ve had 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, children, and adolescents helping them figure out what needs to change and how to go about making those changes so it doesn’t “kill them.”

I work with people who are struggling. They may be struggling in their marriages, with their families, their co-workers, or their friends. I help people deal with problems that are complicated by anxiety, depression, or grief. I also work with individuals struggling to understand and live with a mental illness. I believe each life deserves to be lived to the fullest, and the sooner we can get through the barriers that hinder us, the brighter our lives will be.
