On behalf of all the counselors and therapists of the InnerView Counseling & Consultation, we sincerely appreciate you and the work we do with you to improve your situations and relationships. In light of our ever changing world in the last few weeks with the COVID-19 outbreak and it’s impacts we are all reminded of how important safety and comfort is to our overall well being. We value caring for you and your family above all else and because of this we wanted to make you aware of the steps and precautions we are taking to ensure the safety of our clients and staff of the InnerView.
Due to the call of our nation to slow the spread of the virus, most of our counselors and therapists will be doing online counseling through a secure telehealth portal from their home or office. Please check the email that we have on file for you for instructions of how to schedule appointments, access these portals, and stay in touch with essential information. We understand the uneasiness that has been created as a result of this virus and all the decisions of protection that have followed. However, rest assured that the InnerView will continue to adhere to the national guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and our state and local government to keep you and those we care for safe and healthy.
We welcome any additional feedback or concerns you may have for us regarding these preventive measures. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com or leave messages at 502-499-8010 on extension 200. Our messages are being checked on a periodic basis; however, the best form of contact will be for you to reach out to your individual therapist either by phone or email for more information.
Your health and safety physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually is and will always be the top priority in our relationship with you and your families and we will continue to monitor the situation locally and nationally and make additional changes as needed.
Are you curious about online therapy and how it works? Online therapy is private, convenient, affordable, and portable! It offers a couple of advantages in that you can get great care AND keep your privacy. You can schedule online and 'meet' with your therapist in the comfort of your home or a private area with internet access anywhere in Kentucky. Telehealth is really easy to get started.
This format is especially nice for clients with anxiety, depression, grief, anger, motivation, or those who have concerns about privacy. Some of us work with some chronically ill individuals and for those who may have become exposed to COVID-19 and are quarantined or those whose medical conditions prevent them from being able to leave their house because of fear of additional sickness, infection, or extreme exhaustion that coincides with being sick. Our online portals for telehealth are HIPAA compliant which means your privacy is 100% guaranteed. This will also give those who might be resistant to therapy or have been anxious about driving to a therapy session the opportunity to give it a try in the comfort of your home.
If you are new to our office and would like more information please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can talk more about the convenience of therapy in your home when you contact us and we will go over it in detail in our first session. We want to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the online therapy format.
